Media relations continues to play a key role in how our companies adapt, lead and develop solutions. Here’s how we recommend engaging today:

• Be helpful. If you can be part of the solution, do so.

• Follow your target media on Twitter to gauge their current interests.

• A fair number of journalists are looking for business stories that are NOT Covid-related.

Marketing preparation often gets sidelined by immediate demands. Now’s the opportunity to do things you never had time for:

• Focus on refining company messaging + positioning.

• Review those wild and crazy marketing ideas that you never had time for.

• Build an editorial calendar and content to distribute throughout the remainder of the year.

• Look at how data, surveys and insights can help you tell your story.
