CASE STUDY: FASHION / CONSUMER/ MARKETPLACE
VSC helped Poshmark pioneer the circular economy of fashion while building a powerful brand based on community, love and entrepreneurship.
When we first engaged with Poshmark our aim was to generate visibility in the market while separating from the pack of over 14 competitors in the space. By focusing on community rather than technology we helped frame the story of how a sense of design and a full closet could turn a fashionista into an entrepreneur.

Our first move was to establish Poshmark as the P2P marketplace and go-to destination to buy, sell and connect over fashion. We put a spotlight on the sellers Poshmark empowered to become entrepreneurs from their own closet.
We launched a series of momentum-based announcements to maintain a consistent presence in the media using thought leadership, data, momentum, celebrity users, and sellers turned entrepreneurs, all while positioning CEO Manish Chandra as a leading voice in the on-demand fashion movement.

Poshmark has become the largest social commerce marketplace in the U.S. with more than 4M users, equating to 8x growth with their stylist earnings increasing 4x. There are now more Poshmark sellers than Etsy sellers and Lyft drivers combined.
