Hint began working with VSC for support in positioning and evolving messaging to better connect with their B2B audience of direct primary care providers.

After rigorous messaging development VSC aimed to position the company not just as a platform for direct primary care providers but as the driving force behind the direct primary care movement, which cuts insurance out of the equation and allows patients a higher-quality healthcare experience.

Strategy and Tactics

We leaned into educating audiences about the benefits of direct primary care and the current issues in the industry.

Leading up to Hint Summit, the company’s annual conference, we secured exclusive stories in tier 1 business and trade media outlets to showcase the strength and validity of the platform in front of an audience of direct primary care providers.

To further establish credibility, VSC Studio produced and launched an ‘About Us’ video and targeted prospective customers via LinkedIn.

Aligning with our positioning goal to support the direct primary care community, we conceived of the idea to pitch Hint Health’s customer clinics to local broadcast media, further educating the general public on the benefits of direct primary care while supporting the clinic in securing new patient sign ups – a win-win for the business. We then expanded this initiative to three additional Hint customers across broadcast markets.

Next, VSC leveraged a series of company and product launches, partnerships, acquisitions, and events to demonstrate Hint Health’s continued momentum.

The Results

VSC secured media coverage for each announcement in top-tier outlets like Forbes, Axios, Fortune Term Sheet, Business Insider, and NPR and trade outlets like STAT, Fierce Healthcare, and MedCity News. These initiatives drove significant business results while increasing Hint’s share of voice and awareness across its highly targeted B2B2C audience.
